Franz Grüter, Chairman of the Board, National Councilor
From the very beginning of his career, Franz Grüter has worked in the IT and telecommunications sector. This Swiss certified electrotechnician has co-founded and co-owned several Internet companies, one of which – TIC The Internet Company – merged with Green in 2008. He was instrumental in pushing the company to enter the datacenter business and actively promoted the development of this sector. Since 2015, Franz Grüter has served as a National Councilor in the Swiss parliament and is Vice-President of the ICTswitzerland umbrella organization.
Frank Boller, CEO
Frank Boller has a degree in economics from Boston University and has occupied managerial posts in the field of IT and telecommunications for more than 30 years. He has worked at Hewlett-Packard Switzerland (as General Manager), Diax Telecommunications (as CEO) and UPC Cablecom as Head of the Consumer Markets division. An expert in his chosen sector, he is Vice-President of the industry’s largest professional association, SwissICT, and advocates in favor of Switzerland as an ICT hub.
Pius Grüter, Director of Retail Business
Pius Grüter was co-owner and a member of the founding team of TIC The Internet Company, which merged with Green in 2008. Since the merger, he has overseen the retail business of the green.ch division and is a member of the senior management team. He is an industry expert and has developed the green.ch business branch as a provider and cloud service provider for the past 10 years. A qualified IT engineer, he shares an unwavering passion with his team for technology and its uses.
Alexander Eberle, CFO
Alexander Eberle studied economics before completing further training as a Swiss certified auditor. As Head of Controlling and Finance, he worked in both SMEs and the IT sector before being appointed Financial Controller at British American Tobacco, with an international remit. In 2014, he joined the Green management team assuming responsibility for the fields of finance and HR.
Marco Stadler, Head of Sales and Marketing
Marco Stadler holds an Executive MBA in International Management and is a Swiss certified electrical engineer. He possesses extensive expertise in the IT systems and solutions business which he acquired in his previous roles, including as Director of Sales and Presales at Ascom Switzerland as well as in various positions at IBM Switzerland. From 2014 to 2018, Marco Stadler headed the North American business of the Swissphone Group, where he was also a member of group management from 2011 onward. In 2018, he took over responsibility for the Sales, Presales and Marketing departments at Green.
Stephan Niederberger, Head of Technology & Build
Stephan Niederberger spent more than twenty years working as a project manager in different posts at ABB Switzerland, most recently with an international remit as Head of Project Management for Energy Solutions in the field of low-voltage and emergency power systems. As such, he was responsible for the technical implementation of all projects and the accompanying budgets. Since the middle of 2018, he has bolstered the Green management team, heading the Technology & Build department which handles the company’s infrastructure projects.
Adrian Meyer, Head of Datacenter Operations
Before joining Green in 2015, this Swiss certified business IT expert handled a wide range of IT projects in the role of Project Manager. Following the development of the cloud platform, he joined the company’s datacenter team which he continued to expand during the years that followed. Today, he is Head of the Service Management, Operations & Maintenance and Security departments.
